An old Indian proverb says: we do not inherit the earth from our parents, we borrow it from our children. We believe that if you live by this wonderful principle, you surely contribute to a better world. At SIP Protection we do so in many ways. First of all, it is our long term ambition to be a CO2neutral company. In 2017, we’ve taken some steps towards this.
Furthermore, we walk the talk. This means that what we behave as responsible citizens would do. We value safety, honesty, quality, integrity, diversity, innovation and sustainability. Our words are translated into actions and in turn these are translated into many awards and certificates. We are STEP certified, are one of the first producers of garments to obtain the ISO 14000 certificate and we are examining the feasability to hold a CO2neutral label.

BAAs coordinates today's global national activities for professional tree careers. Main activities are, on the one hand, the establishment and organization of the European Tree Worker (ETW) and European Tree Technician (ETT) examinations in Belgium under the regulations of the European Arboricultural Council (EAC). On the other hand, BAAs organizes the National Belgian Tree Climb Championship under the rules of International Society of Arboriculture (ISA).
In 2017, BAAs obtained the status of professional association (official since May 12, 2017), and in the coming months, the organizational structure of BAAs will be restored to represent and support the tree care sector.
ISA -- the International Society of Arboriculture is an organization whose mission is to promote the professional practice of arboriculture through research, technology, and education, and to foster a greater worldwide public awareness of the benefits of trees.
The "Societe Française d'Arboriculture" unites all (French) actors in forestry and horticulture. The federation informs members about legislation and develops and supports scientific knowledge and international knowledge exchange.
For more than 25 years, the Rhino is part of our logo. His tough skin protects him against the claws and teeth from lions and tigers. And yet he is very fast and agile.
Our garments protect you against the teeth and claws from your chainsaw, and you can stay comfortable at work. For more than 25 years we have been protecting you against the risks of the chainsaw, and we want to continue doing that for many years.
Over the years, we have sold more than 1.000.000 chainsaw trousers. The rhino of SIP Protection thus has protected many chainsaw operators.
In return, we also want to help protect the Rhino. When we came across Siphosetu, a South African Rhino with a beautiful name, we immediately fell in love with her. And we decided to adopt her.
SIP Protection takes CSR very seriously. So does the group we are part of.
