EN ISO 17249

Boots that comply with the EN ISO 17249 standard provide protection against hand-held chainsaws.

Chainsaw protective boots

A chainsaw boot is always a safety boot in the first place. A boot complying to EN ISO 17249 automatically complies to EN ISO 20345 (safety boots). Therefore, a chainsaw boot does not need to be labelled EN ISO 20345.
